π― Serving
BeginnerUnderhand Serve
The first serve most players learn: the ball is held at waist height and struck with a pendulum arm swing. Reliable and easy to control.

πͺ Step by step
- Stand behind the end line, non-hitting foot forward, facing the net.
- Hold the ball in your non-hitting hand at waist height, in front of the hitting hip.
- Make a fist or flat heel of the hand with your hitting arm.
- Swing the hitting arm back, then forward like a pendulum.
- Contact the bottom-back of the ball (drop or release it just before contact) and follow through toward the target.
