• History and results from international competition
• A searchable library of answers to common volleyball questions

Sources and accuracy

Rule summaries are based on the FIVB Official Volleyball Rules. They are written for learning and may simplify the official wording; for match play, always check the current official rulebook and your competition’s regulations. AI answers can occasionally be wrong — when it matters, check the rulebook.

Visual Volleyball is an independent site and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FIVB or any federation, league or team.

How the site is funded

Visual Volleyball is free. It is supported by ads and by affiliate links on the gear pages: if you buy recommended gear through those links we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Recommendations are based on what players need, not on commissions.
