Which is better: 5-1 or 6-2?
It depends on your players:
- 5-1 — best if you have one excellent setter. Consistent setting, simpler communication. Used by most elite teams.
- 6-2 — best if you have two good setters who can also hit, and want three attackers in every rotation.
Many club and school teams use a 6-2; most international teams use a 5-1.
